On my birthday trip, my parents and I went to Loggerhead Marine Center in South Florida. While we were walking through a turtle rehab center, we noticed a sign that said

Adopt a Turtle. We wanted to adopt one for sure! When we were flipping through the book, we saw a turtle named Valentina. This was really special because I have an adopted sister named Valentina! We decided to adopt her. When we got back home and told my sister, she was super excited! I am happy to report that our turtle, Valentina, was released back into the ocean only a week after we adopted her!
