Super Bowl Sculpture 2023

This year at the Super Bowl LVII Experience, Ryan and I had the privilege of creating a fourth football sculpture for the NFL! It was a 4 foot long 100% upcycled sculpture, and we found all of the trash from local Florida beaches. The process for creating the sculpture begins with creating the wooden frame, then covering it in wire, then stuffing it with trash, paper mache-ing it, covering it in trash, spray painting it football colored, and finally, placing the logo and laces on. This process takes a long time, but it’s worth it in the end to raise awareness to the pollution in our ocean. The point of creating these sculptures is to bring light to ocean conservation issues through art. Check out our past three sculptures by clicking on the buttons below.
