After Hurricane Ian hit South Florida, I decided to start a fundraiser to raise money for supplies for children and families affected by the hurricane. We were able to raise over $10,000 in only a week, and we bought diapers, baby wipes, socks, toys, snacks, blankets, and gift cards with the funds we received. We filled up around 300 backpacks with these items to give to children and families in South Florida. It was an amazing project and we were able to make a big difference and help out some struggling families post-disaster.
