Earlier this year, my friend Serene Alandary and I teamed up for a community service ocean conservation project! It was a 5k where all of the proceeds from signing up went to ocean conservation! She ended up raising $2,315, and we were able to present a check with this amount to an amazing local organization, Tampa Bay Watch! It was so great to participate because it combined a fun physical challenge with helping out the ocean.
